Eastern Garage Doors is a family owned, Australian business based in Bayswater over 25 years of experience. Founders Louise and John started the business after seeing a clear gap in the garage door industry poor customer service and limited options available to their local community.
Louise managed the office, delivering prompt, reliable service. John worked on the tools, building a strong reputation for quality workmanship and expert knowledge.

How do I arrange a free measure and quote for a new garage door?
Contact us organise a time to attend and quote. Once we have attended, our office will send your quote usually within 24 hours. If you wish to proceed, the lead time to install is usually 3–5 weeks.
My garage door won’t open. What should I do?
First, put the garage door opener onto manual and see if it can be lifted by hand. Check to see if there are any visible issues. Call our direct line on (03) 9812 3062 the office staff will endeavour to talk you through some troubleshooting to see if we can get your door working if not, we will organise a time for one of our technicians to attend and fix the problem.
How many years is it expected for a garage door opener to last?
7-15 years approximately.
How can I make my garage door last longer?
Have it serviced every 2-3 years or at the first sign of any complications:
- Sectional door/panel lift - you should check the cables for any signs of fraying or wear, and check that hinges are tight.
- Roller doors - keep door tracks clean by wiping them out with a clean rag.
- Tilt doors - check for wear on all moving parts. Check springs for overstretching.
