Actually they provide fast and efficient service. Why I am given one star rate is based on below 2 reason.1. When I making phone calls, I checking repeatedly to confirm service charges. To avoid confusion, I did ask is one one seven, without any objection.I knew there's confusion when you say one seventy. But when job finished,I asked to paid 170.2. When I am asking to pay 170, Darren said it won't be 117 even 30 years ago. I am so upset with this. As yes I am not in Melbourne 30 years ago. But around ninety I am in other part of Australia. I do know the charge in last century was definitely lower than 100.

30/10/24 - Henri, from Macleod VIC 3085.I highly recommend Eastern Garage Doors from Bayswater VIC 3153.A couple of weeks ago? I had to change my 15 years old sectional garage door opener. I rang their office on Tuesday, Danielle at the reception was very knowledgeable and efficient. She gave me on the spot a price (including tax) and possible installation date for the same week. Their technicien Joe arrived on time on the due date and performed the door opener changeover in less than an hour. He was very professional, did a very nice job and took all relevant rubbish with him.The work came with a 7 years warranty, at a very competitive price. I will keep Eastern Garage Doors in mind for any further repair or installation.

Overall, I recommend but there are flaws. All tradesmen leave a mess, and this company was definitely no exception (on both visits). Also, the quality of work varies by personnel, not the company. Work by first team was fairly good. Work the by the second team, not so much with ripped garage door insulation in multiple places, finger dents in foam panels, and undercut one foam sheet.25-10-2024 Updated from 3 to 4 StarsThe company replaced without charge, two of the foam insulation panels I was unhappy with. Thank you for the follow up customer care, Eastern Garage Doors. :)

Fantastic service from the first call to the end result.Carolyn at reception was super lovely and did her best to secure my door repair asap that week. I was at work on the scheduled day, however the repairer was happy to access the garage in my absence, and I came home to a working garage door (yay!).The emailed invoice was comprised of a justified call-out fee and small cost of new parts and was easy to pay online via card or direct deposit. 100% satisfiedAn old B&D 4 was dying by degrees and I got an excellent quote to supply and install a MERLIN unit from EGC.Great price all up included, actually not a lot more than some selling just the hardware on eBayFantastic communications with Danielle and Georgie getting it all scheduled and installed. SO easy to deal with and so on the ball.Darren came punctually and got it all installed.He troubleshot the old one quickly just to see, but it was beyond all help. We both had a laugh about 30 years we got from it though.He cleaned up spotlessly crushing the boxes neatly into our recycling bin.Showed us how it worked, demonstrated the finer points.Took the old one away to garage door opener graveyard.Company vehicle spotless, Darren well presented, groomed and a safe careful worker.Recommend 100%

I had an issue with my manually operated rear garage roller door coming out of it's guides and couldn't get it back in. I rang one highly rated garage door company in Bayswater twice but got zero replies back. I then rang Eastern Garage Doors who quoted me a fixed call out fee of $160 to fix the door issue and also a price to install a motor for that same door. Steve came out two days later, on time and he was brilliant. Retensioning the roller door so that it would go back into it's guides was a major effort and Steve's expertise was on full display. There was no way I could have done that. The installation of the motor was relatively simple. Great service, great price, great company... a rarity these days. I could not recommend Eastern Garage Doors highly enough and will definitely use them again if a problem arises.

Our old door hardware broke, next day had guy out to fix. Was able to get door open to get car bins out what we needed. Strongly recommend to replace due to age of the hardware ( approx 20years old) but could fix the parts if wanted to. Explained everything in simple terms.
