Roller Door Service

Roller doors are very efficient, low maintenance and if installed correctly will give you years of problem-free operation.

It is important to service them regularly, to have the door tension checked and adjusted, if necessary, as this can affect the manual release on your door.

You can do some self-maintenance like keeping the tracks clean with a dry cloth then spraying them with some silicone spray, you should check the safety reverse regularly by placing a small piece of timber under the door and making sure the opener reverses when it hits the timber.

The nylofelt strip on the sides of the door cannot be replaced and it is important to keep an eye on these that they are not catching or tearing.

If they are please contact us for a service as this means that your door is not running correctly and if left will cause issues and the need for a new door.

It’s important to NOT PUT GREASE ON ANY PART OF YOUR ROLLER DOOR.

If you need a new roller door lock, we can provide one with new keys.

Squeaky roller doors are annoying – depending on the reason for the squeak. If it is the internal spring that is causing the noise it is almost impossible to eliminate this noise. Squeaks can also come from other areas which we can attend to. Often we can reduce the squeak but rarely can we eliminate it entirely.

We offer a general maintenance service to keep your roller door in good shape – often, the springs lose tension over time and should be serviced every 2-3 years. If you notice any problems with it before then call us!

We can replace the rubber weatherstrip at the bottom of roller doors if it is worn out.
