I was so very happy with the service provided by Eastern Garage Doors. My roller door had stopped working and I phoned a few companies only to be put on hold and not giving me a quote or any reassurance about fixing my problem. Yesterday my garage door collapsed due to broken drum. Tried 4 places to get quotes, 2 responded immediately and friendly. Sent both very detailed photos of damages and gave measurements of door and drum diameters to avoid multiple trips hence cost. Eastern Garage was chosen for earlier attendance to repairs. we had an issue 2 weeks outside of the warranty. The problem was with the parts installed last year. When I called the immediate reponse was "well it is out of warranty so we will have to charge" not a good start. I was then told that I caused the problem, um how could the phone operator have any idea of this. Apparently her mind powers told her that I had disengaged the cable that hangs down. Not sure how this is even possible when I am outside of the garage, if only I had such abilities.The only positive is that they answer the phone quickly but we will never use this company again, support is 0/10ETA I think you missed the point of the review. Your workmanship failed 2 weeks post 12 mth warranty and you blame the customer, this is not a good review. It is great you are happy that you did not have to come and fix your work, that speaks volumes.

From the very get go eastern garage doors was thorough in coming up with the best solution. We have limited height clearance so Eastern garage was very honest and upfront about the options available to us. We settled on a custom clad tilt door which is a massive upgrade on what we had. The back and forth communication was prompt and clear. They did a similarly great job to a colleague who I've recommended them to. Will definitely recommend to others.

5 star for Louise's customer service. I needed to buy a new remote to troubleshoot why the garage door was only responding intermittently. Louise offered to take the price of the remote off the cost of installing the new garage opener, if I decide to go ahead with the new garage opener. She was very fast in responding to emails and was not pushy at all. Price quoted was very competitive, compared to 2 other quotes I got.Darren turned up on time to install the new garage opener. Actually they provide fast and efficient service. Why I am given one star rate is based on below 2 reason.1. When I making phone calls, I checking repeatedly to confirm service charges. To avoid confusion, I did ask is one one seven, without any objection.I knew there's confusion when you say one seventy. But when job finished,I asked to paid 170.2. When I am asking to pay 170, Darren said it won't be 117 even 30 years ago. I am so upset with this. As yes I am not in Melbourne 30 years ago. But around ninety I am in other part of Australia. I do know the charge in last century was definitely lower than 100.

30/10/24 - Henri, from Macleod VIC 3085.I highly recommend Eastern Garage Doors from Bayswater VIC 3153.A couple of weeks ago? I had to change my 15 years old sectional garage door opener. I rang their office on Tuesday, Danielle at the reception was very knowledgeable and efficient. She gave me on the spot a price (including tax) and possible installation date for the same week. Their technicien Joe arrived on time on the due date and performed the door opener changeover in less than an hour. He was very professional, did a very nice job and took all relevant rubbish with him.The work came with a 7 years warranty, at a very competitive price. I will keep Eastern Garage Doors in mind for any further repair or installation.

Overall, I recommend but there are flaws. All tradesmen leave a mess, and this company was definitely no exception (on both visits). Also, the quality of work varies by personnel, not the company. Work by first team was fairly good. Work the by the second team, not so much with ripped garage door insulation in multiple places, finger dents in foam panels, and undercut one foam sheet.25-10-2024 Updated from 3 to 4 StarsThe company replaced without charge, two of the foam insulation panels I was unhappy with. Thank you for the follow up customer care, Eastern Garage Doors. :)
